Day Trip to Canterbury

As usual, must take a typical tourist picture :P

Canterbury Cathedral -- UNESCO World Heritage Site

The cathedral is too humongous that we only managed to capture part of the building

I was amazed by the tedious carved work inside

The Tomb of St. Thomas

According to history, pilgrims spent days and nights of long long journey just to see this -- the Shrine of St Thomas of Canterbury

Nice =)

Even the windows inside also incredibly nice

I was exploring part of the cathedral

I prefer the compound area of the cathedral

The famous Norman Gate

Tomoko was so proud of her artistic picture shot...hehe

The ang-moh uncle was quite skillful in picture taking. This is the proof :)

Nice hor ^_^

What a wonderful day !

It looked so unreal, like a scene that would only appear in a fairy tale
My favorite place in Canterbury

Because of this angle of view, Tomoko and Chiyoko sacrificed their precious sight-seeing time, just wanted to get the perfect shot...but that also made our journey fun and interesting

The Roman Museum -- we were cheated by its spectacular building printed in the tourist info handbook. The gorgeous building is no longer exists in the present day, it only appears in the huge poster behind me...cheh...

Roman Museum was built underground -- "UP"

and "DOWN"

Tomoko became a busybody to help the lady combing her hair...like very complicated...muaks

Piggy bones and face (^(oo)^)

I also contributed part of my arts talent in finishing the wall decoration

Canterbury town centre

I enjoyed the delicious meal served by the Poppins Restaurant. yummy ^_^

Historical Canterbury Hospital, too bad it was not opened on Sunday

Chiyoko was upset for not being able to go for her Canterbury Tales

Canterbury clock tower

I wonder why she sayang the lamp post so much

No body knows what is the purpose of putting the cute little sheep there

At the end of the trip, sending off my postcards (whisper: those postcards were not from Canterbury, I brought them along with me from London coz I've forgotten to deliver in London..hehe)

Greenwich ~ The Centre of World Time

Eventually I've made my way here!

IIt is the red building that makes Greenwich so famous

And you have to climb uphill to reach the destination

Another typical tourist picture

I was stepping on both the east and west hemispheres, that was too amazing!

Places where my heart and soul always belong to :)

Peter Harrison Planetarium Cone

Hehe...can you see me ?

When time stood still for me, I will.....still be myself (",)

Giant telescope

Wonderful view at the top of the hill

They are proud of their largest Maritime Museum in the world

The Angel of Voyage =)

Long long corridor beside the Maritime Museum

The gate entering the centre of tourist attraction

It was a cloudy day

Local Market

You can bargain for the cheapest price here

At a street corner

Greenwich Downtown
